Blue sky

A family spends a day somewhere in the country. Mom and dad deal with one thing, another, sometimes in the house, sometimes outside. A colt gallops in the meadow, the wind blows, the sea just a stone's throw away shines under the blue sky, big children play, and the baby does what babies do.

The clouds, at first white and ragged, keep gathering and soon the storm is unleashed. A summer one, with lightning, thunder and torrential rain. What to do, watch the show from the window or hide under the blanket? And when the storm subsides and the sun reappears, the mud seems to be made especially for rolling through it. They, the pigs in the coop, know what they know.

This story - or poem, song, game - you choose, is not about a holiday or a special day, but about a day like countless other days that are completely and utterly ordinary, but only after a while we give up realize they were perfect.
